摘要： A method and system for the transmission of digital data (210) over existing analog radio frequencies (230) is presented, wherein the digital data may include audio data, visual data or audio-visual data for presentation either with analog broadcast data or at a selectable time. The digital data may be transmitted over a plurality of sub-channels that have varying degrees or reliability (250). A "quality-of-service" process manages the transmission of digital data over various sub-channels based on the reliability of the sub-channel, the amount of digital data and the type of digital data to be transmitted. The digital data may further be encrypted and authenticated.

摘要： The rotary piston engine with an eccentric cylindrical piston, and radially sliding sealing blades has these blades (45) L-shaped and extending in part through the piston (42). Their inner ends are rounded and are throughout the cycle in contact with a spigot (24B) projecting from the casing. The outer portion of the blades, representing the other leg of the 'L', ends in a cylindrical-section axial recess in which a sealing bar (50) can pivot. This bar carries 3 sealing strips far enough apart to bridge any of the openings - gas inlet (38), outlet (39) and spark plug (18, 19) - in the cylinder outer wall. A spring-loaded floating length (47) in the radial leg of the blades provides sealing press. and compensates for expansion/contraction. The usual end seals are incorporated and a conventional timing gear has a ratio of 1.5 : 1, giving 120 deg. piston rotation per crankshaft revolution.

A wheel alignment apparatus comprises arms 38 each mounted by means of a device 26 to extend parallel to the wheel. A member.86 fixed on arm 38 houses a pivoted lever 90 (Fig. 7) which has an element 93 so that lever 90 may be connected by an elastic member 120 to the lever associated with the opposite wheel. The angle between lever 90 and arm 38 is a measure of the toe in. It is measured by moving a thrust element 116 which acts on a pivoted follower 113 until a contact on the follower engages a contact 95 on lever 90. This closes a circuit and operates a signal e.g. a lamp 107. The amount the thrust element has moved is indicated by a scale 119. The camber, caster and king pin angle can also be measured by means of spirit levels mounted by means of the device supporting arm 38. The amount the spirit levels need to be adjusted by a cam, to bring the bubble between the central markings is shown on rotatable scales 60, 73 which control the cams.
