    • A system for providing XML syndication content to an Internet advertisement panel rendered in a web browser is disclosed. The system includes a web content server, an Internet advertisement server, and a XML syndication content feed site server. Both the web content server and the Internet advertisement servers are in communication with the web browser. The web content server is configured to respond to requests from the web browser for a web page and to deliver the web page to the web browser. The Internet advertisement server is configured to choose and deliver an Internet advertisement panel, having embedded XML syndication content, to the web browser. The XML syndication content feed site server is in communication with the Internet advertisement server and is configured to send XML syndication content updates to the Internet advertisement server upon receipt of an update request from the Internet advertisement server.

    • A system for delivering advertisement units that interact with each other on a webpage is disclosed. The system includes a web browser, a web server, and an advertisement server. The web browser is configured to generate a request for a webpage. The web server is communicatively connected to the web browser and is configured to receive the request for a webpage from the web browser and send the requested webpage to the browser in response to the request. The webpage includes an ad unit request script that is configured to direct the web browser to generate a request for an advertisement unit. The advertisement server is communicatively connected to the web browser and the web server. The advertisement server is configured to receive advertisement unit requests and send a first ad unit and a second ad unit to the web browser in response to those requests. The first and second ad units are rendered by the web browser onto the webpage. The first ad unit is communicatively interfaced with the second ad unit and is configured to detect the second ad unit and send instructions to the second ad unit if the second ad unit possesses specified attributes. The second ad unit is configured to receive and execute instructions received from the first ad unit.

    • Herein is provided an anastomosis device which includes a cylindrical support housing having a tapered section being formed of a plurality of compliant fingers integrally formed around the circumference of an end of the cylindrical section which can flex at their connection point to the cylindrical section. Each compliant finger holds a suture needle. The device includes a push rod having a cam head at one end of the rod section. The cam head is located adjacent to the tapered portion. In operation the anastomosis device is aligned with the anatomical tubular structure undergoing an anastomosis process. When a back end of the push rod is pushed towards the tapered section of the support housing, the cam head section bears against an inner surface causing each compliant finger to flex radially outwards forcing the suture needles to simultaneously pierce the wall of the anatomical tubular structure.

    • A folding endoscope with incorporated optical sensors and light sources includes a housing having first and second ends and a longitudinal axis and at least one channel extending between the first and second ends and associated ports at the first and second ends for inserting surgical instruments through the housing into a surgical site. The endoscope includes at least two elongate arms having proximal and distal ends and being pivotally connected at the distal ends thereof to the first end of the housing. A camera and light source are mounted on each of the elongate arms such that when the elongate arms are deployed the cameras have a field of view in a generally forward direction away from the housing. A linkage mechanism is connected to the elongate arms, and an actuator is connected to the linkage mechanism. The linkage mechanism, upon activation by the actuator, is configured to pivotally deploy the at least two elongate arms from a closed position in which the elongate arms are aligned along the longitudinal axis to an open position with the distal ends of the elongate arms radially spaced from the longitudinal axis.
