摘要： A gage control system for a rolling mill for compensating for variation in the thickness of rolled material due to variations in the rolling load or pressure. In the system, the roll eccentricity frequency produced by the eccentricity of the rolls is detected and utilized for softening the effective rigidity or stiffness of the mill, that is, weakening the apparent mill modulus by control means according to the frequency of roll eccentricity. To this end, a positive feed back path including an eccentricity control unit is provided in parallel with a feed back path of the rolling pressure signal of a gage control circuitry of the so-called BISRA system. The eccentricity control unit serves to detect the roll eccentricity on the basis of a correlation principle and compensate for or cancel the effects of the feed back of the rolling pressure upon the occurrence of the roll eccentricity.

摘要： The present invention provides a method and a system for controlling strip thickness in rolling mill, especially adapted in the case where material is rolled by a tandem rolling mill. According to the present invention, the change in the strip thickness from one sampling epoch to another is calculated on the basis of two sampling values, i.e. strip thickness and strip thickness deviation, at the entrance side of a mill stand; the press-down speed and the workpiece tension are determined according to such a condition as to minimize the calculated change during the sampling period; and the press-down speed and the interstand tension are regulated by the thus determined mill speed and tension when a certain portion of the strip reaches the stand bite of the next mill stand.

摘要： PURPOSE:To improve the rolling efficiency and yield, by additionally installing a shearing machine on the feed-in side of the cold rolling mill in order to cut the rolled material with this shearing machine on the feed-in side of the mill only when the roll is to be interchanged. CONSTITUTION:The coiled material is uncoiled alternately from two pay-off reels 1A, 1B, and the tip and tail end of the rolled material are cut by the first shearing machine 4. The tail end of the preceding material 27 cut as stated above is welded to the tip of the trailing material 26 by the welder 6; then, the welded material is fed to the rolling mills 17-21 through the rolled material reservoirs 11A, 11B, and is rolled. Hereupon, the second shearing machine 16 is installed between the material reservoirs 11A, 11B, and the feed-in side of the cold rolling mill 17; when the roll is to be interchanged, the rolled material is cut by this shearing machine 16, and the feed of material by equipment on the upstream side of the shearing machine 16 is at once stopped. On the other hand, the preceding material 28 is rolled uninterruptedly after being cut by the shearing machine 16, and is coiled by the tension reels 25A, 25B.

摘要： PURPOSE:To simplify the circuit constitution, by calibrating and demodulating the analog signal into a normal value at the reception side, by feeding the reference signal simultaneously with the analog quantity. CONSTITUTION:The output of the analog signal generators 34a to 34c is fed to the optical fibers 37a to 37d of the photo delivery cable 32 via the photo electric converters 36a to 36c and the output of the reference signal gnerator 35 is via the photo electric conversion unit 36d. At the reception end 33, the analog signal is fed to the calibration units 39a to 39c via the photo electric converters 38a to 38d, the refernce signal is fed to the calibration signal generator 40, developing the reciprocal signal of the attenuation of the reference signal, and this output is fed to the calibration unit and it is multiplied with the analog signal. As a result, the amount of attenuation of the analog signal accompanying the timely veriation is corrected and it is reconstituted with the delivery signal accurately at the analog signal receivers 41a to 41c.
