    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic gate controller that reduces a control error as much as possible and permits accurate control without increasing a load on and drive current for gate facilities for a dam or the like.
      SOLUTION: The gate automatic controller is provided with a controlled variable computing part 101 for computing the target opening degree Gm of a gate and a gate control part 102 for controlling the opening/closing operation of the gate. Furthermore, the automatic gate controller, for operating the gate in the open direction or the closing direction to attain a target opening degree, controls such that it factors an amount Q of excessive operation of the gate to be operated even after the gate has received a halt instruction, issues the halt instruction at the time point when the actual opening degree of the gate becomes Gm-Q during operation in the opening direction, and issues the halt instruction at the time point when the actual opening degree of the gate becomes Gm+Q during operation in the closing direction. With the automatic gate controller as above, an amount Qr of actual excessive operation when the gate is operated during certain gate operation is found, and actual excessive amount Qr of operation is used for an expected excessive amount Q of operation from certain gate operation through the following gate operation, thereby performing the gate control.

    • PURPOSE:To shorten drying time of clothing, by a method wherein out of two air current blowoff ports where opening areas vary in size the air current blowoff port whose opening area is wide is formed into the rear front of the air current of a heating source. CONSTITUTION:Air current blowoff ports 14, 15 are formed, an opening area of the air current blowoff port 14 is made wide and arranged at the front of the rear of the air current of a heating source 19. The air current dehumidified and reheated by passing through a cooler 17 and reheater 18 at the time of drying of clothing is heated by the heating source 19, a temperature is raised and blown off through the air current blowoff port 14. Therefore, the heating source 19 can be exposed to the air current by controlling an increase of ventilation resistance and without reducing an air quantity, heating value of the heating source is increased and drying hours of the clothing can be shortened. The air current blowoff port 15 is used at the time of spot drying where operation is performed by connecting the same with a duct hose.

    • PURPOSE:To improve reliability, to eliminate the need for a heat resistant material, and improve work efficiency of inspection and replacement, by a method wherein heat dissipated from a heater after operation is stopped is discharged into a chamber through a gap between a hole in the bottom of a fan casing and a closing plate for the hole. CONSTITUTION:During inspection and replacement of a heating preventing device 19 and a temperature fuse 20, by removing a decorative cover 2 and a screw 12 of a closing plate 21, and the closing plate 21 and pulling off the receptacle of a lead wire 25 and the receptacle of a lead wire 27 on the power source from a temperature fuse 20, they are completely separated from an air conditioner body 1 to effect inspection. In replacement, the heating preventing device 19 and the screw 12 for securing the temperature fuse 20 are removed to perform inspection. Since an electric heater 9 for heating is placed to the rear part of a vaporizer 8, there is no risk of the heater making contact with a human body and therefore, even if the heater is not cooled, inspection and replacement can be effected. Further, since a high temperature heat, generated during operation of the heating preventing device 19 and the temperature fuse 20, an air conditioner, requiring no heat resistant material nor heat insulating material, can be provided.
