    • PURPOSE:To obtain highly precise control of injection volume within a wide range of injection volume by providing a plate-shaped removable valve body in a fuel passage leading to a fuel injection outlet and a fixed spherical valve seat for decreasing the weight to save the electric power and preventing the bounding phenomenon due to inertia. CONSTITUTION:When an electromagnetic coil 1 is unexcited, the lower side cone face 22 of a plate-shaped valve body 21 is pushed to a top spherical face of a valve seat 20 by the tension of a spring 25 to intercept the upper end of a pass-hole 19, and consequently, the connection to an injection port 10 via the pass-hole 19 of a fuel passage 18 is intercepted. Meanwhile, the electromagnetic coil 1 is excited, a magnetic circuit is excited with a gap (g) between the plate shaped valve body 21 and central and circumferential magnetic pathes respectively by a stator iron core 4 and an outer wall part 6, and the plate-shaped body 21 is brought up from the contact with the valve seat 20 by the magnetic attraction against the force of the spring 25 via the gap (g) for opening a flow passage from the fuel passage 18 to the injection port 10 via the valve seat pass- hole 19. This construction permits to disuse the former semi-spherical valve body part and restrain the increase of the weight at the time of increase of a contacting face due to the increase of discharge.

    • PURPOSE:To improve the atomization capacity of fuel by installing a second fuel diffusion element in the inner part of a first fuel diffusion element installed at the downstream side of a valve seat. CONSTITUTION:Fuel passing through between a valve body 10 and a valve seat 12 flows into an orifice 17 at the time of valve opening of a fuel injection valve 1 and, after fuel metering and swirling force to the fuel are given by this orifice 17, it is sprayed to a ring void 18. The sprayed fuel is atomozed as repeating its collisions with an inner circumferential surface of a first diffusion element 6 and an outer circumferential surface of a second fuel diffusion element 15 while swirling in the ring void 18 and then it is sprayed at a specified spray angle from an outlet 6a of an injection nozzle 6. With the presence of these fuel diffusion elements 6, 15 like this, collision frequency of the fuel is sharply increasable so that a fuel diffusive effect by a series of collisions can be sufficiently brought out and, what is more, atomization capacity of the fuel is improvable owing to a synergetic effect of diffusion and swirling energy by these collisions.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent the slip-off of an adapter and the like by providing a protruding part in a nozzle, and forming the adapter and other parts into superposed structure inside the nozzle. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic circuit is formed of a core 2, a yoke 3 and a plunger 4. Inside the core 2, there are provided a spring 8 for pressing a movable part, formed of the plunger 4 and a ball valve, to an orifice 14 provided with a seat face 7 fixed to a nozzle 6; a spring adjuster 9 for adjusting the load of this spring 8; and a coil 11 wound on a bobbin 10 for exciting the magnetic circuit. Further inside the nozzle 6, there are fixedly provided a stopper 12 for determining the stroke of the movable part, a swirler 13 for guiding the ball valve 5 and also providing fuel with turning force, and an adapter 15 for dividing fuel coming out of the orifice 14 into two ways. The coil 11 is then excited, the plunger 4 is sucked into the core 2 side, and a seat part formed of the ball valve 5 and the orifice 14 provided with the seat face 7 inside the nozzle 6 is opened to inject fuel.
