摘要： The proposed local oscillation circuit comprises a resonance circuit including a variable capacitance diode to change the resonance frequency and tuning coils for low and high frequency bands, an oscillating transistor connected with the resonance circuit, changeover means for switching the tuning coils between the low and the high frequency bands, biasing means for providing a bias voltage for the oscillating transistor, and means for changing over a collector current of the transistor by changing the bias voltage applied by the biasing means to the transistor, in response to the operation of the tuning coil change-over means. The local oscillation circuit is well adapted to be used in a tuner of a receiver which receives a wide range of frequencies, e.g. a VHF television tuner.

When AFC voltage of a tuner has attained a first predetermined voltage level, frequency sweeping direction for tuning is reversed and stopped thereby to tune the tuner at an optimum tuning frequency. When switch 5 is pressed to carry out the circulating channel selection, the clock signals are applied to circuit 2 from clock generator 4. Circuit 2 supplies these clock signals to duo-decimal counter 3 and device 1. As a result, device 1 selects the next channel in sequence. When counter 3 counts 12 units of the clock signal, circuit 2 stops the supply of the clocks to device 1 and also reset counter 3.

Further, when the preset start switch 12 is turned on, the output of the pulse generator 5 is counted 3 via the gate 4 and when the tuner 1 reaches the most suited tuning point via the A/D converter 2, the gate 4 is turned off with the output of the tuning detection 6. Further, the memory 7 fetches the content of the counter 3 via the circuit 8 and after that, the address is renewed. Further, the output of the crcuit 8 opens the gate 4, and similarly, the next broadcast station is memorized in the memory 7 resulting that the broadcast station corresponding to the band is preset.
