摘要： Disclosed are various embodiments for associating and synchronizing extrinsic data with video content at particular points of time in the video content. A user interface is rendered that facilitates a selection from extrinsic data items that are associated with a video content feature that is currently being presented to a user. A user selection of one of the extrinsic data items is obtained through the user interface, and a time in the video content feature is determined corresponding to the user selection. The user selection of the one of the extrinsic data items and the time in the video content feature are reported to a server.

The series forms a successive plurality of input strings. As each character in the series is entered into the search query form, a successive plurality of search query strings is generated. As each search query string is generated, a request is sent to retrieve a search results document corresponding to the search query string. As a response to each request is received, at least a portion of the search results document is displayed if the response indicates success.

摘要： A web server system selectively supplements dynamically-generated web pages with coding that allows developers and other authorized users to identify, and access remotely-stored information about, the executable server components used to generate such web pages. In one embodiment, the web server system includes a trace utility that monitors the dynamic generation of a requested web page. The trace utility outputs a mapping structure that maps components of the web page to corresponding server components that were invoked. The mapping structure is embedded within the web page along with code that is executable by an ordinary web browser to allow a user to interactively view associations between the page components and the executed server components. The system also provides restricted access to development and maintenance documents and functionality associated with the executable components.
