摘要： A dynamic rebalancer operates in a server cluster independently of routers directing traffic to the servers in the cluster. An analysis component uses configuration information and statistics information to determine which session, if any, should be moved. A filter component receives transfer instructions from the analysis component. When the filter component receives transfer instructions from the analysis component, the filter component adds a redirect command to the client request. The filter component continually redirects client requests within the session to the new server until the client receives the redirect command and begins to send client requests to the new server.

摘要： In a method and system for monitoring events occurring at respective servers of a configuration of nodes, a first server located at a first node receives information from a messaging system pertaining to events at servers located at other nodes. The messaging system usefully comprises a highly available (HA) bulletin board or the like. When the first server receives a start event notification pertaining to a second server located at a second node, a direct communication path is established between the first and second servers. The first server identifies events in the second server that affect or are of interest to services of the first server. The first server then registers with the second server, to receive notification through the direct communication path when respective identified events occur.

The wireless device operates in a first activity state in which data can be transmitted to and received from the wireless network over one or more dedicated logical channels. The wireless device transitions to operate in a second activity state having lower power consumption than the first activity state if it is determined by the wireless device that data has not been transmitted by and has not been received at the wireless device for a predetermined period of time. The predetermined period of time is known to both the wireless device and the network control apparatus. The transition takes place synchronously without requiring control signals to be passed between the wireless device and the network control apparatus.

摘要： The methods, devices, and systems are provided for performing endovascular repair of atrioventricular and other cardiac valves in the heart. Regurgitation of an atrioventricular valve, particularly a mitral valve, can be repaired by modifying a tissue structure selected from the valve leaflets, the valve annulus, the valve chordae, and the papillary muscles. These structures may be modified by suturing, stapling, snaring, or shortening, using interventional tools which are introduced to a heart chamber. Preferably, the tissue structures will be temporarily modified prior to permanent modification. For example, opposed valve leaflets may be temporarily grasped and held into position prior to permanent attachment.
