    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic communication device having an antenna operative in two wide operating bands covering at least from 824 MHz to 960 MHz and from 1710 MHz to 2170 MHz to perform a five-band WWAN operation.SOLUTION: The electronic communication device has an antenna structure with a grounding element. The grounding element comprises a first notch, a second notch and a first protruded portion disposed at an edge of the grounding element, and the first notch and the second notch are not located at corners of the edge of the grounding element. The first protruded portion is located between the first notch and the second notch. The electronic communication device has an antenna element. The antenna element and the grounding element are disposed on different planes. The antenna element has a projection on the grounding element, and the projection covers a portion of the first protruded portion, a portion of the first notch and a portion of the second notch.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a mobile communication device where a built-in antenna is integrated with electronic elements functioning as a data transmission port, to achieve a goal of covering multi-band operation.SOLUTION: A mobile communication device 1 having an antenna structure includes a grounding element 10 and an antenna element 11. The grounding element includes a main ground 101 and a protruded ground 102 being connected to an edge of the main ground. Antenna element includes a feeding portion 13 and a radiating portion 14. The feeding portion includes a feeding point 131, a first strip 134 and a second strip 135. The first strip and the second strip are both connected to the feeding point. The radiating portion includes a first open end 15, a second open end 16 and a shorting point 141 which is connected to the protruded ground by a short-circuiting strip 142. There is a first coupling gap 17 between the first strip and a first section of the radiating portion having the first open end. There is a second coupling gap 18 between the second strip and a second section of the radiating portion having the second open end.

    • The present invention discloses a multiband monopole slot antenna. The antenna comprises a ground plane, a dielectric substrate, a radiating portion, and a microstrip feedline. The dielectric substrate is connected to an edge of the ground plane and extends toward the opposite direction of the ground plane. The radiating portion is on the metal surface of the dielectric substrate and comprises a first monopole slot, a second monopole slot and a third monopole slot. The microstrip feedline is on the surface opposite to the metal surface of the dielectric substrate. A first end of the microstrip feedline is connected to a signal source, and a second end of the microstrip feedline is an open end. The microstrip feedline passes over the first, second, and third monopole slots. A section of the microstrip feedline which passes over the third monopole slot is parallel to the third monopole slot, and the microstrip feedline is generally of a step shape.

    • The present invention is related to a coupled-fed multi-band loop antenna. The antenna comprises a dielectric substrate, a ground plane located on the dielectric substrate and has a grounding point, a radiating portion which comprise a supporter, a coupling trip and a loop strip, and a matching circuit. The coupling strip and loop strip are both located on the supporter, with the coupling strip surrounded by the loop strip. The length of loop strip is about 0.25 wavelength of the antenna's first resonant mode. The loop strip has a first end paralleling with the coupling loop, a second end and a shorting point near the second end and electrically connected to the grounding point on the ground plane. The matching circuit is on the dielectric substrate. One terminal of the matching circuit is connected to the coupling strip, and the other is connected to a signal source.
