    • The present disclosure discloses a fruit detection and counting system (100) comprising: an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) including a camera; and a location detector. The system further comprises a housing unit having a controller configured to receive the captured real time images from one of the segments of the field from the camera and geo-coordinates of the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) located at a predefined elevation; count the quantity of the fruits and determine the quality of the fruits present in the each of the segments of the field using deep learning techniques; generate a direction signal to guide the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) to move to the one of the other segments of the field based on the current geo-coordinate of the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV); and extract features of the fruits present in the field using filters.
