    • PURPOSE: A communication test device and a method thereof are provided to test the communication of a system during the operation of the system by testing an actually managed code. CONSTITUTION: An insertion module(101) inserts a test agent into process control block. When a communication event is generated between processes, a hooking module(103) hooks a test target with a test code by using the test agent. When the test code is hooked, a scanning module(105) collects test information about communication between the processes. A logging module(107) stores the test information collected by the scanning module. A process control block(201) includes a present resource use state about the processes, a process state, priority, and a function table. The communication event includes message transmission between the processes, sharing data transmission, the use of a message queue, and the use of a synchronization object.
