    • PURPOSE: A device for measuring a position of a pipe, and a method for measuring the position of the pipe using the same are provided to measure, collect, and analyze the 3-axis position information of a pipe joint by a person who is equipped with measuring equipment and directly entered into the inside of the pipe. CONSTITUTION: A device for measuring a position of a pipe comprises a camera unit(100), a 3-axis sensor unit(200), a distance measuring unit, a wearable computer(400), and a GUI(Graphical User Interface)(500). A lighting device is attached to the camera unit and real time video can be recorded by using the camera unit. A tilt sensor and an electric compasses sensor are embedded in the 3-axis sensor unit for measuring a 3 axis while the 3-axis sensor unit is closely adhered to an upper edge inside of the pipe. The distance measuring unit measures by rotating wheels on a floor of the pipe. The wearable computer saves the recorded video and gathers the signals measured by the 3-axis sensor unit and the distance measuring unit and compare-analyzes the collected signals by using a program. The GUI outputs an analysis result of the wearable computer with numeric information on a real time basis. The GUI is manipulated by using a touch screen.
