    • PURPOSE: A frequency synchronization device of an OFDM system is provided to improve performance degradation in inferior channel environment by applying a weighting value according to the correlation period of an OFDM multiple path. CONSTITUTION: A channel estimator(100) obtains a main path from a channel impulse response value, each delay time of the main path, and power of the main path and an echo path. A correlator(200) obtains a first correlation value between a first guard period and a first copying period, a second correlation value between a first overlapping period and a second overlapping period, and a third correlation value between a second guard period and a second copying period. A weighting value calculating part(300) obtains a first, a second, and a third weighting value by using noise power.

    • PURPOSE: A sampling frequency synchronizing device of an OFDM system is provided to reduce the error of sampling frequency offset estimation by applying a weighting value according to a variance value to a sampling frequency offset estimation value after complex conjugate multiplication. CONSTITUTION: An adaptive noise removing filter removes noises. A complex conjugate multiplication part computes a variance pilot between adjacent two received signals using a first complex conjugate multiplication. The complex conjugate multiplication part computes two signals which are continuous among signals which are generated with the first complex conjugate multiplication using a second complex conjugate multiplication. The complex conjugate multiplication part generates a complex conjugate calculation value. A sampling frequency generation part generates a sampling frequency. An A/D converter changes a received signal into a digital signal.
