SOLUTION: Rails 2 are attached on top of a roof of the automobile. Using the rails, the sunshade 1 made of a material having heat ray shielding effect and UV-screening effect is mounted thereto so as to move between the top of the roof of the automobile and a space above the windshield without impairing visibility. When hitting the pedestrian in a state of the sunshade moved above the windshield, an airbag is inflated between the sunshade and the windshield and at the same time the sunshade is raised obliquely upward to receive the body of the pedestrian with the airbag for protection.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool capable of easily cutting and dividing a cord-like backup material, which has a circular or polygonal cross section and serves as an underlayer of a sealing material, according to the width and depth of a joint, and also to provide the backup material having a semicircular cross section which can be filled into the joint with less labor even when the width of the joint is narrowed during the filling work, upon caulking work for a building. SOLUTION: The tool 1 has a plurality of guides 3 corresponding to a cross sectional shape and size of the backup material 2. When the backup material 2 is put into an inlet port, it is cut and divided into an intended size by a blade 5 which is arranged at an outlet port of the guide and is adjusted in the position for obtaining a needed cross section. By making the dimension of a hole of the guide 3 adjustable, the backup material 2 can be cut and divided into any sectional shape and size. For filling the joint or the like, the semicircular backup material 2 can be filled in the joint with less labor than when using the one having a quadrangular cross section even when the width of the joint is narrowed during the filling work, since both ends of the semi-circular backup material are thin.
