    • 393,350. Foam making. JENSEN, W., 1052, East Del Mar, Pasadena, California, U.S.A. Jan. 12, 1932, No. 949. [Class 47 (ii).] An apparatus for making foam or lather, for example for shaving purposes, comprises a mixing chamber in which air and liquid are whipped together by a beater rotated by an electric motor, and a heating unit for heating the chamber. As shown, the apparatus comprises a base 10, a compartment 13, and a receptacle 25 for liquid. The compartment and receptacle, which are connected by bolts, are shaped to provide the two halves 14, 54 of a closed mixing chamber 56. Liquid is admitted to the chamber 56 by passageways 24, 26 which are controlled by a tubular valve 17. The inlet port 22 of the valve is adjustable in size by means of a screw 21. Air enters the mixing chamber by a pipe 63 which passes through the liquid receptacle and has an air inlet 65 adjustable in size by means of a screw 66. A circular beater 27 is arranged for rotation in the mixing chamber, its shaft 28 having a groove-andtongue connection with the rotor shaft 32, Fig. 3, of an electric motor 33. The latter is detachably mounted on the apparatus by means of a projecting sleeve 35, which engages in a socket in the compartment 13 and which serves as a bearing for the shafts 28, 32. An electric heating element 36 is arranged in the compartment 13. The operating handle 20 for the valve 17 is arranged simultaneously to open the valve and to close the switch 50 which controls the motor and heater circuits. The mixing chamber is formed with a discharge spout provided with a pivoted closure flap.

    • One embodiment provides a computer-implemented method for transaction authorization within a security service. The computer-implemented method intercepts a request by a security service, wherein a transaction identifier is cached to form a cached transaction identifier, and requests the requester to authenticate to form an authentication request. The computer-implemented method further determines whether the requester was authenticated, and responsive to a determination the requester was authenticated, receives authentication information, including an associated transaction identifier. The request is intercepted and the cached transaction identifier inserted. The computer-implemented method further determines whether the cached transaction identifier is equivalent to the authentication information, including an associated transaction identifier, and responsive to a determination that the cached transaction identifier is equivalent to authentication information, including an associated transaction identifier, passes the request to the application.
