A liner (33) is placed over the jaw arrangement to separate it from the material being collected. The conveyor mechanism serves to advance the liner along with the material collected therein, whereby the material is able to be collected into the housing and retained in the liner without making contact with surfaces of the device.

摘要： A chemical pollutant container 8 is conical in shape, at its lesser diameter end it has a connecting socket 9 which push fits onto the spigot end of a spray nozzle 4 of a liquid holding spray bottle 1, its larger opposite end 10 is left open ended and has around its circumference on its external edge a fibrous plastic rough faced washer 14 which is pliable. When the conical container 8 is connected to a spray bottle 1 and pressed against a flat surface 11 the washer 14 forms a seal between the two. If the trigger 3 of the spray bottle 1 is then squeezed, the ejected airborne droplets 7 are contained in the conical container 8 on hitting surface 11 the droplets 7 return to a collective liquid. The captive liquid 7 in the conical container 8 can then be moved around the window pane, tiles, etc., the fibrous washer 14 lightly scrubbing the surface 11. These procedures ensure that no harmful airborne chemical droplets 7 are inhaled or have skin contact with the user, it also protects furnishings, woodwork, paint, plastics, etc. If the conical container 8 is used close to an uneven surface the airborne droplets 7 are greatly reduced, those still airborne travel sideways away from the users hands and face, and not outwards.
