    • In a mixing pump device (1), during an suctioning step a stepping motor (12) rotates in a first direction, so that during this time, a plurality of fluids can be drawn in prescribed proportions into a pump chamber (2), by sequentially opening and closing active valves (5a, 5b) situated in inflow passages (3a, 3b) while active valves (6a, 6b) situated in outflow passages (4a, 4b) are in a closed state. During the discharging step the stepping motor (12) rotates in a second direction, so that during this time, a mixed fluid can be discharged from the pump chamber (2) simply by sequentially opening the active valves (6a, 6b) situated in the outflow passages (4a, 4b), while the active valves (5a, 5b) situated in the inflow passages (3a, 3b) are in a closed state. It is possible thereby to achieve a mixing pump device capable of mixing a plurality of fluids in prescribed proportions, without detecting the operating stage of the pump.

    • A battery pack is provided, in which a plurality of rechargeable batteries are held by a center frame, a bottom-side frame, and a terminal-side frame in a parallel spaced relationship, the plurality of rechargeable batteries being connected in series and integrated with a circuit substrate by mounting the circuit substrate on the terminal-side frame, the circuit substrate being provided with a resin mold, whereby the battery pack is free of damage to electrical circuit parts even in the event of entrance of water or dust through vents that are provided for suppressing temperature rise of the rechargeable batteries. The plurality of rechargeable batteries are connected in series by joining connection plates to the positive and negative electrode terminals formed on the sealing plates of plurality of the rechargeable batteries that are held by the terminal-side frame, and connection projections formed to each connection plate are fitted in respective connection holes in the circuit substrate so as to integrate the circuit substrate with the rechargeable batteries, whereby the wiring for connecting each of the rechargeable batteries to the circuit substrate is made simple.

    • The power supply apparatus of the present invention comprises a fuel cell, a secondary battery for supplying power to a load, a power measurement section for measuring the output power of the fuel cell, a power converter which inputs output of the fuel cell, controls the output power so that the input voltage or the input current approaches the operation target value, supplies the output power to the load and/or the secondary battery and conducts a power conversion, and a control section which controls quantity of fuel to be supplied to the fuel cell, and also indicates to the power converter of an operation target value that comes within predetermined range which includes the smallest quantity of fuel the fuel cell discharges, wherein the control section sequentially indicates a plurality of the target values for power measurement to the power converter, the power measurement section measures the output power of the fuel cell for each target value for power measurement, and the control section seeks the target value which gives the maximum power within a plurality of output powers, and updates the operation target value based on that value.

    • A driving piezoelectric bimorph element for tuning fork vibration and a detecting piezoelectric bimorph element for angular rate detection are aligned and put together, end to end, with their vibration directions positioned perpendicular to each other.Two of the above structure are made into a tuning fork like angular rate sensor. The polarization directions of the piezoelectric elements, that make up the piezoelectric bimorph element by bonding them together are made the same and also the two outer electrodes of the bimorph element are connected electrically with each other, with a resultant angular rate sensor capable of detecting angular rates in a stable manner against changing ambient temperatures. Particularly, the use of a conductive film electrode for making a connection between two outer electrodes and the almost equal surface areas between two outer electrodes made it possible for the angular rate sensor to detect angular rates with much stability and less temperature drifts.
