摘要： A machine which spreads carton blanks on a belt conveyor and brushes loose bits of paperboard from upper and lower faces of the carton blanks and edges of the carton blanks. The carton blanks are counted and then stacked on an elevator which is gradually lowered as a stack of carton blanks builds up on the elevator. The stack is then advanced onto a discharge conveyor where an outer carton can be placed over the stack of carton blanks. Finally, the stack and the outer carton are inverted on a turntable and the outer carton with the stack of carton blanks thereinside is discharged from the machine.

The side-bet offered may be placed against any dealer face-up card—Ace, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, Jack, Queen, or King. The payoff may vary depending upon the dealer face-up card and paid in accordance with a pay table. The bet may be paid when the dealer hits their hand and exceeds the total of 21, therefore going bust. The bet may lose when the dealer receives a standing hand of 17, 18, 19, 20 or 21. The side-bet may be made once the dealer's face-up card has been determined. The side-bet may be asked for at one time similar to an insurance bet or as each player acts on their individual hands.

摘要： A switch device for counting articles that includes a shoe member having an elongated portion extending cantilever-fashion over a body thereof to adjacent a head of a plunger. Flat articles such as carton blanks are directed over the shoe member to pass over the head of the plunger. An elongated leaf spring attached to the body has a portion extending cantilever-fashion under a foot of the plunger to urge the plunger outwardly. A switch element is mounted with a push button thereof engaging the spring. A first jack screw extends between the cantileverextending portion of the shoe member and the body and a second jack screw extends between the base member and the spring member.
