    • The inventive concept relates to a health care system, and more particularly, to a health care server of the health care system and a method of operating the same. The health care server includes a symptom collection module collecting clinical information of patient from a hospital server and health information of patient from an individual health record server; an alarm and reaction rule management module generating an alarm rule on the basis of the clinical information and the health information; and an alarm generation module monitoring the health information or the clinical information and generating an alarm when the monitored health information or the clinical information corresponding to the alarm rule. The health care server can provide a different alarm service to a patient having a different health state with reference to clinical information and health information of each patient.

    • A physical examination method using a mobile terminal, and a gateway and a mobile terminal for physical examination are provided. The physical examination method using a mobile terminal may include: receiving, at a physical measurement gateway, information on a subject and information on a physical measurement device to be used by the subject through the mobile terminal; and receiving, at the physical measurement gateway, physical information on the subject measured by the physical measurement device, transmitting the physical information to a health management server, receiving physical examination results, obtained based on the transmitted physical information, from the health management server, and providing the physical examination results to the mobile terminal of the subject. Thus, a patient who has limited mobility can easily undergo a physical examination without accessing the physical measurement gateway, thereby constructing a convenient U-health environment.

    • There is provided a daily activity recognition system using sensors installed in required positions in a home to recognize daily activities of an old person, the system including: a radio frequency (RF) management unit receiving data measured by a plurality of sensors installed in required positions in a home, recognizing a corresponding sensor transmitting the received data, and converting the received data into a basic activity corresponding to the recognized sensor; a buffer management unit storing the basic activity received from the wireless processing manager in an internal buffer; and a daily activity recognition unit recognizing daily activities of an old person at each point in time previously set, based on the basic activity stored in the buffer. The daily activities of the old person are recognized and stored in a database, thereby providing various services related to the health of the old person.
