摘要： A cleaning attachment (16) for converting a cleaning implement (10) to a mop is in the form of a flexible cover having spaced walls (18, 20) for being disposed on opposite sides of the cleaning head (12) of the implement. The walls are connected together at the bottom portion by a central support surface (26). Wings (28, 30) extend outwardly from each side of the support surface (26). A container having cleaning solution is mounted to the attachment (36). Cleaning solution (38) may be dispensed from the container and then through a sponge pad (46, 58) covering slots (44, 56) so that the cleaning solution could flow onto a wipe (34) detachably mounted to the bottom portion of the attachment. The container could be a compressible (36A) which would be squeezed between the wing and the wall by lowering the implement toward the floor (50) to thereby force cleaning solution from the container.

摘要： A device for controlling the engine speed of a gasoline-engine - driven pressure washer comprises a cylinder having a machined bore which houses a piston, piston spring, and a connecting rod with a drag nut. The cylinder is mounted on the gasoline engine in such a manner that the movement of the piston and connecting rod effect the movement of the engine governor arm, thus controlling the speed of the engine. A hydraulic line connects the cylinder to the pressure washer. When the trigger shutoff gun is closed, the pressure washer system pressure falls to near zero, and the spring forces the piston and connecting rod back into the cylinder such that the drag nut contacts the engine governor arm, drawing it back and thereby slowing the engine. When the trigger shutoff gun is opened, the resultant rise in pressure is transmitted to the piston, forcing it back against the spring, extending the connecting rod and releasing the governor arm, thus allowing the engine speed to increase to its throttle setting. The opening and closing of the trigger shutoff gun in the pressure washer system causes the hydraulic line to be pressurized or de-pressurized, causing the piston to move back and forth in the cylinder.
