摘要： PURPOSE: To provide a fixed shaft shape gauge permitting the use of a small and inexpensive converter by pressing the bearing inner ring of a fixed shaft to a block having horizontal and vertical flexible members bent only in one degree of freedom. CONSTITUTION: For each measuring region, a bent block 12 including flexible elements 20 and 21 is attached to a shaft 11 by a screw 19. A bearing inner ring 13 is attached to the bent block 12, pin-fixed by a pin 14 and the rotation of the inner ring 13 is prevented. A pre-load is applied to the inner ring 13 by a spring 30 provided in the pocket 31 of the shaft 11 and contact is surely made between the inner ring 13 and the bent block 12. The outer surface 32 of the bent block 12 is machined in a radius in which its center is O, the axis of the inner ring 13 is zero and a holder 17, an outer ring 15 and a cover 18 are all rotated around the center O.

摘要： PURPOSE: To optimize the operation of a rolling mill by controlling a separating force between rolls and the speed of a driving device by inputting into a controller a separating force capacity in a rolling mill structure, a driving torque capacity, the sliding of the roll, the maximum pass rolling reduction, a parameter of a rolling stock or the like and obtaining a bit of pass information. CONSTITUTION: The bearable separating force capacity in the rolling mill, the driving torque capacity in the driving device, the characteristic of the stock to be rolled and the desired dimension to be rolled are stored in the controller. Further, the maximum allowable rolling reduction of the stock to be rolled which passes through respective passes is stored. A pass rolling reduction schedule is calculated from respective stored values, and a calculation for deciding the minimum dimension of the stock to be rolled which can be realized by the rolling mill is repeated every pass under the condition of the separating force capacity in the rolling mill structure body, the driving torque capacity, the sliding of the roll to the workpiece stock, the maximum allowable pass rolling reduction and the desired dimension of the stock to be rolled. The optimal operation of the rolling mill is executed by controlling the separating force between work rolls and the speed of the driving device by the use of the calculated pass schedule.

Since covers 31a, 31b of wiping rolls 29, 30 are squeezed by back pressure rolls 43a, 43b, a surface liquid is not allowed to pass through the contacting area between the back pressure roll and the wiping roll, the liquid is accumulated in beads 38a, 38b and sucked out of beads by the vacuum action of manifolds 39a, 39b.

SOLUTION: The intermediate roll hydraulic cylinder 33 and antibending cylinder 34 for enabling to balance and bend the intermediate roll 13 are arranged on a maywest blocks 35, the bending ears parts 31 of the chocks 12, 16 are projected into the slots 70 of the maywest blocks and, when the whole assemblies of the intermediate rolls are inserted and removed at the time of changing rolls, are passed through the slots. After the intermediate rolls are changed, the cylinders are retreated and the ear part can be lowered into pockets formed on the maywest blocks and, the chocks are arranged in the axial direction in the maywest blockes, so the conventional retainer plates are not necessitated.
