    • A process for preparing cyclic organohydrogensiloxanes comprises: (A) contacting a silane of the formula RHSiCl 2 , where R is selected from alkyl radicals having 1 to 12 carbon atoms and aryl radicals, with water to form a hydrolyzate comprising cyclic organohydrogensiloxanes and linear organohydrogensiloxanes, and (B) contacting the hydrolyzate with an acidic rearrangement catalyst in the presence of an inert liquid diluent to increase the ratio of the cyclic organohydrogensiloxanes to linear organohydrogensiloxanes in the hydrolyzate. The acidic rearrangement catalyst is an organic compound containing a strong acid group, for example a sulphonic acid, which is dissolved in the inert diluent present.

A rod 13 is secured inside the seat pillar 10 and has a disc 14 secured to its lower end to engage the spring 15. The cable 27 is connected to a hand operated lever on the bicycle handle bars.

    • A fixed line trimmer head for string trimmer machines is made to accommodate trimmer lines of a range of line sizes, from a relatively small diameter line to a maximum diameter line, typically from 0.080" to 0.160". To accomplish this, the trimmer head consists of a generally cylindrically-shaped hollow main housing member (12, 15) having a central axis through it. Exit openings (36, 38) for the line are formed on diametrically opposite sides of the main housing member in a plane which is perpendicular to the axis of the housing member. A first set of string entry holes (24, 26) is formed through the housing member (12, 15) in a plane which is offset from the plane of the exit openings (36, 38); and these holes are located on opposite sides of a line which is perpendicular to the projection of a line passing through the exit openings. A second set of string entry holes (20, 22) is located on the opposite side of the hollow main housing member from the first entry holes (20, 22) ; and these holes of the second set have a diameter which is less than the diameter of the first set of entry holes. The size of the exit openings is selected to accommodate the largest size line which may be passed through the entry holes.
