摘要： A baton-like device is provided with a hollow telescopic ram or bolt member which can be driven to extend out of a barrel or trunk portion of the baton. The driving force is produced by a source of gas under pressure, which in preferred embodiments, takes the form of explosive cartridges and which can be repeatedly and automatically operated in a manner similar to an automatic shot gun. The force with which the ram is driven can be modulated using a pressure by-pass or by selection of the cartridges, or both. In order to reduce the risk of a fatal impact, the tip of the ram is provided with a blunt knob which can further include an inflatable cushion like member which is supplied with air or gas as the ram is displaced out of the barrel. The knob is removable allowing projectiles such as tranquilizer darts to be launched by loading the projectile into the hollow bolt and catapulting them towards a target or targets. Alternatively, the knob can be replaced with a chisel-like cutting tool and used as an emergency cutter in the event of a vehicle accident.

摘要： A tactile stimulator for causing information from a remote input source either manually or automatically to be transmitted or transposed through a converter such as a transducer or computer to an output driver to provide tactile stimulation to a user. In an preferred embodiment, a preprogrammed source of music is used to create patterns of movement and sound to create a touching and moving sensation on the body of a user to enhance the feel of the music by the user. In a manual mode, a keyboard is connected through a computer or multiplexer switching unit to permit the user to create a pattern of pleasurable or therapeutic stimulation, or to create a recorded program for later and repeated uses. In an alternative embodiment, a preprogrammed, therapeutic regime is provided to massage a user. Alternative uses of the invention are also disclosed.

摘要： In order to partition a storage area of a vehicle so that bags of groceries and the like can be arranged in a neat orderly manner, a space organizer includes a backboard which extends laterally across the storage area and at least two wing-like partition members which can be either fixed or hinged and which partition a given area of the storage area into three cells or sub-areas for bags and the like. A lid member can be provided to enclose at least the top of the center cell and in the case where the partition members are hingedly connected to the backboard a bungee cord can be used to retain the two partition members in desired space dividing positions.
