Dolls, clothing for.-A cap or hood A for the head portion B of a two-faced doll is shaped to fit the head and is movable so as to cover up either face of the doll. The cap &c. is of crescent bag shape with the deeper edges or portions E at the sides of the head B. The cap may be pivoted to the doll's head by pins F inside the cap engaging holes in the head, the pins being preferably connected to a stiffening-strip G secured to the cap as shown in Fig. 6. The cap &c. may be provided with long hair which is turned over with the cap to position the hair on the then back of the doll.

[Class 64 (i)] The transverse laths forming part of the irrigation structure in cooling towers and the like are mounted on and supported by a cellular orhoneycomb assembly composed of triskelion units each comprising three arms a radiating from a centre. The laths rest in notches a formed in the upper surfaces of two of the arms, which are horizontal. The outer ends of the arms are formed with upwardly extending pillars a to support the triskelion unit in the layer above. The outer ends of the arms are angular as shown, so that, when the units are assembled together, a space shaped as a three-pointed star is left between the adjacent ends, and is filled with grouting or other means of interconnection. Successive layers of units are held together by split rings which fit in annular seatings composed of arcuate slots a formed in the top and bottom surfaces of the pillars a . The bottom layer of units is supported by cylindrical pillars, which are connected together by arms in triskelion units, and have annular grooves in their top surfaces to receive split rings connecting them to the units above. According to the Provisional Specification the centre of the structure may be supported by a column having a triskelion cantilever formation at its upper end.

[Class 47 (i)] A device for breaking windows or the like to facilitate escape from buildings or vehicles comprises a bracket A adapted to be secured to a window frame, for example, and parallel plates B between which is pivoted a lever E with a hammer head L. A handle C is provided with a bar D moving in cam slots K in the plates B and adapted to engage in a groove G in the lever E. In use, the lever E is pulled back by the handle C, against a spring H, until the rod D in the slots K rides out of the groove G. The hammer head is then projected by the spring against the window N. Notches O are provided in the slots K to facilitate the resetting of the apparatus.

[Class 132 (iii)] An eye for a doll or toy animal is moulded from transparent or translucent material and embodies a reduced stem portion 10 at the rear apertured at 11 for stitching, the stem being superficially coloured as an iris and pupil. The front 9 of the eye is convex and the annular part 12 at the rear is painted as an eyeball with a colour contrasting with that on the rear 14 of the stem representing the pupil and on the side 13 of the stem representing the iris. The stem 10 may have an axial recess 15 also painted, the paint being thicker at 16 to represent a dark pupil. The eye is circular or elliptical and is injection-moulded from thermosetting or thermoplastic compositions e.g. urea formaldehyde, cellulose acetate or nitrate or acrylic resins.
