    • A waste cooking oil containment assembly comprises a containment tank 104 having an electrically actuated inlet valve 114 and a float level switch 124 for detecting a level of oil in the containment tank. The inlet valve is configured to close if the level of oil detected by the float level switch exceeds a predetermined threshold value. The inlet valve may be configured to open if the detected oil levels falls below the predetermined threshold value. The inlet valve may be a normally closed motorised valve, a ball valve or two position valve. The assembly may further comprise a sensor, a signal generator and a signal transmitter, wherein the signal generator is connected to the sensor and generates a data signal which is wirelessly transmitted by the signal transmitter. The signal may comprise data identifying the containment tank or data that relates to the oil level in the containment tank, the position of the inlet valve or the position of the float level. The signal may be generated and transmitted if the detected level of oil exceeds a predetermined threshold value or may be automatically generated and transmitted at a predetermined time interval.

Feeding; reciprocating-mould-table machines; rotary-mould-table machines; shaking and jigging machines; moulds; moulding fuel; tamping - machines. - Fuel is mixed with adhesive material and fed into a mould e bv means of a measuring device a and a vibrating inclined surface b, the bottom of the mould receiving vertical oscillation and the upper part, after the mould is full, being closed by a pressure device which retains pressure on the material while the latter is being consolidated. In this. way horizontal laminations are produced in the fuel block. Vertical laminations may be produced by a series of vertical knives located in the mould during the filling operation and withdrawn before pressure is applied to the upper surface of the material. The moulds e which are arranged in pairs are adapted to slide beneath the vertical passage d. to enable the fuel to be ejected from one by rotation of the mould upon a rod h ; by the same movement an empty mould passes into the filling position. The lower part of a mould is in the form of a loose plate e' which is oscillated by means of tappets f, a connecting plate f and a series of rotating cams g capable of sliding on their shaft to regulate the motion of the tappets and so control the density of the fuel blocks. Above each mould is a top pressure device which may be in the form of a weight i raised by a vertical rack j and allowed to fall somewhat slowly by gravity. The weight carries a lower plunger i and springs employed between the weights allow the plunger to respond to the action of the tappets without lifting the upper weight. In a modification a pair of tables revolving on vertical axes and geared together each carrying six moulds arranged in pairs equally spaced from each other. Whilst one pair of moulds is supplied with material the contents of another are subjected to nressure and the third receives plungers to eject the blooks. The tables are rotated through 120‹ between each set of operations.
