    • A low-profile cable is provided and includes a body having upper and lower portions that extend a length of the body and also having opposite sidewalls joining the upper and lower portions to one another. The cable also includes passages that are located between the sidewalls. The passages extend the length of the body and are configured to receive at least one twisted pair of conductors. Also, the cable includes a load-bearing structural section that spans between the upper and lower portions. The structural section includes opposing wall supports separated by a pocket channel therebetween. The structural section is configured to support the upper and lower portions and substantially resist deformation of the passages when external forces are induced onto at least one of the upper and lower portions.

    • An electrical component support assembly that includes an electrical component and a bracket removably attached to the electrical component. The bracket is configured to couple to the electrical component and includes a base member that has a first side with a substantially planar shape. The bracket also includes a pair of elbow members that are located proximate to a second side of the base member. The elbow members are configured to be mounted to a support frame. Each of the elbow members is shaped to include a spring portion and a tab joined thereto. The spring portions flex with respect to the base member. The tabs on the pair of elbow members are arranged adjacent to one another and oriented to extend in a substantially common direction to be received in a common hole in the support frame. The tabs extend outward from the spring portions and have recesses for gripping the support frame.

    • A modular plug electrical connector includes a dielectric housing which holds a plurality of terminals, a cavity which is open to the terminals, and a circuit board which is mountable in the cavity. The circuit board has an edge and an array of contact pads along the edge. Each of the terminals has a groove. The grooves are aligned to receive the edge of the circuit board and are dimensioned such that the terminals engage the contact pads within the grooves when the board is mounted in the cavity.In an alternate embodiment a modular plug electrical connector includes a dielectric housing having a mating end, a plurality of slots which are open at the mating end, a cavity which is open to the slots, and a circuit board which is mountable in the cavity. The circuit board has an edge and a plurality of terminals along the edge. The terminals are installed in the housing as a unit with the circuit board and are exposed in the slots for engagement by terminals of a mating modular jack when the circuit board is mounted in the cavity.

    • The present disclosure relates to modular plugs including a housing for holding a plurality of terminals that are engageable with contacts of a mating plug receptacle. The modular plug further includes a slider latch having a distal end portion integrally formed with the housing, a proximal end portion configured and adapted for operative engagement with the housing, and an intermediate portion disposed between the distal end portion and the proximal end portion. The intermediate portion defines at least one flex point. Accordingly, when the proximal end portion of the slider latch is operatively connected to the housing, the intermediate portion of the slider latch defines an anti-snag feature. The slider latch facilitates locking and unlocking of the modular plug with a plug receptacle when in a densely packed array.

    • A terminal block for electrically coupling conductors and terminal contacts. The terminal block includes a terminal base portion that has a mounting side configured to be mounted to a surface of an electrical component. The base portion has contact slots that extend from the mounting side therethrough.
