SOLUTION: A wireless terminal acquires and processes one or a plurality of GPS signals through the use of auxiliary data and extracts information proving the position of the wireless terminal. Subsequently, GPS extraction position information is combined with a non-GPS extraction position to form a prediction value of the position of the wireless terminal. This combination of a GPS extraction technique and a GPS extraction technique is especially useful when the wireless terminal can acquire only one or two GPS signals, since it is not possible to determine the position of the wireless terminal only by two GPS signals.
