摘要： An apparatus for measuring height, of the suspended type, comprises a main measurement assembly 1 and a moving triangle (right-angled) rule 13, both including a housing, a roll of measuring tape 2 and a control key 8 for locking the tape. The apparatus can be placed and suspended above any location on a wall, and after having been reset, it allows a user to read the indication of its height directly on the window, just by pulling downwards the triangle rule 13 situated below, at the top of the head. As a variant, a user can read the indication given by the counter or by the electronic display, through a series of small holes spaced with a certain pitch, provided on the measuring tape, so as to be able to turn a sprocket wheel which in turn drives a system with gear wheels or a high-precision variable resistor and the indication being finally displayed on the screen by mechanical or electrical transfer.

摘要： An apparatus for measuring height of the suspension type comprises a principal measurement group and a mobile straight edge at right angles in both of which are included an envelope, a roll of measurement tape and a control key to stop the tape. The device can be attached and supported at any point on a wall and after zero setting permits a user to directly read the value of its height from the window simply by lowering the ruler at an angle onto the top of the head. Alternatively, a user can read the value from a counter or electronic display by means of a series of small holes with the same pitch provided on the rotating tape on a wheel with pegs that activate a variable resistor with high precision and finally the value shown on the display.

摘要： A suspension-type height measuring device has a main measuring unit having a first tape containing case with a spring loaded first tape reel therein and a first brake device controlled by a first control key, a right-angled rule having a second tape containing case with a spring loaded second tape reel therein and a second brake device controlled by a second control key, and a measuring tape with opposite ends wound on the respective tape reels. The first tape case can be attached to a support at a height no greater than the length of the measuring tape and the first control key actuated to release the measuring tape, and an indication set to zero and the second control key engaged with the second brake device for gripping the measuring tape, and the right-angled rule can be moved downwardly to a floor at the foot of the support for unwinding the measuring tape from the first reel, and then the second control key can be actuated to release the measuring tape and the right-angled rule can be allowed to rise to wind the measuring tape onto the second tape reel, and thereafter the height of a person standing under the device can be measured by lowering the right-angled rule and reading the height of the person through a viewing device.
