    • Disclosed herein is a load balancing method and apparatus which can efficiently distribute load to a plurality of servers providing a software streaming service where a bandwidth-on-demand is different depending on sending times, and a software streaming system using the same. Sessions established between the servers and clients are classified into first sessions which send data for initial execution and second sessions which send data desired by users after the initial execution is completed, and the resulting session information of each of the servers is collected. A total load amount of each of the servers is calculated under the condition that different load weights are applied to the first and second sessions. A server with a minimum one of the total load amounts is selected from among the servers by comparing the total load amounts of the servers with one another, and the selected server is allocated to a new client requesting the software streaming service.

    • A method and apparatus for providing software by function units are provided. In the method, at the streaming client, a functional unit identification is created for identifying a function requested from a user by intercepting a request of a predetermined function in application software from a user. Then, it determines whether a functional unit corresponding to the created functional unit identification is streamed or not, and determines whether each of execution pages of the functional unit is streamed or not when the functional unit is not streamed. After determining, a streaming list is composed with execution pages that are not streamed based on the determination result. Then, a streaming service is requested by transmitting the composed streaming list to the streaming server, and execution pages transmitted from the streaming server are received and stored.

    • A mounting device of a sprinkler comprises: a pair of support rails fixed on a ceiling parallel to each other; a support bar fixed between the support rails; a mounter for fixing the support bar and the support rail together; and a mounting bracket for fixing the sprinkler reducer to the support bar, wherein the mounter comprises: a main body provided with a pair of side plates and an upper plate disposed on upper portions of the side plates; a rail mounting portion formed at lower ends of the side plates and insertedly fixed to the support rail; a support bar fixing portion formed at an upper side of the main body, for supporting the support bar; and a locking member inserted in the side plates in a lateral direction, for preventing the rail mounting portion from being separated from the support rail. Accordingly, the mounting device of the sprinkler can facilitate an assembling operation and reduce the time taken to carry out the operation, and can be applied to various sized ceiling support rails and sprinklers.

    • In a smart energy management system linked with home network devices respectively installed in a plurality of households to manage the use of energy for each household, a location detecting unit detects location information or entry/exit information of a household member through recognition of an RFID tag carried by the household member connected with an RFID receiving device. An energy recording unit receives energy use details of the household, inputted from the home network device, and records the received energy use details together with the location information or entry/exit information of the household member. A pattern analysis unit analyzes an energy use pattern for the energy use details. An energy management unit provides the energy use details through the home network device as a result obtained by comparing the energy use detailed for each household or so that the household member recognizes the energy use pattern.
