    • A pressure-sensitive adhesive layer of pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet is formed by using: a pressure-sensitive adhesive composition comprising (A) a polyrotaxane having a linear-chain molecule passing through opening portions of at least two cyclic molecules, the cyclic molecules having a reactive group, the polyrotaxane having blocking groups at both ends of the linear-chain molecule, and (B) a pressure-sensitive adhesive polymer having two or more functional groups capable of reacting with the reactive group; or, a pressure-sensitive adhesive composition comprising (A) a polyrotaxane having a linear-chain molecule passing through opening portions of at least two cyclic molecules, the cyclic molecules having a reactive group, the polyrotaxane having blocking groups at both ends of the linear-chain molecule, (B′) a pressure-sensitive adhesive polymer having two or more reactive groups, and (C) a compound having two or more functional groups capable of reacting with the reactive group of the polyrotaxane (A) and the reactive groups of the polymer (B′). As a result there can be provided a pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet comprising a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer excellent in flexibility and having high gel fraction and durability, and a pressure-sensitive adhesive composition that constitutes the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer.

    • A sealing material for optical elements with excellent transparency, crack resistance, and heat resistance which can produce a cured product of the sealing material and a sealed optical element are provided.     • A curable composition that includes (A) a silane compound copolymer that includes a specific repeating unit, (B) a silane coupling agent having a reactive cyclic ether structure, and (C) a curing agent so that the mass ratio “(A):((B)+(C))” of the silane compound copolymer (A) to the silane coupling agent (B) and the curing agent (C) in total is 95:5 to 70:30, a cured product obtained by curing the curable composition, and method for using of the curable composition as an optical device-securing adhesive or an optical device sealing material, are disclosed.     • According to the present invention, there can be obtained a pressure sensitive adhesive sheet having an adhesive layer which even when the thickness is reduced to 5 μm or less, exhibits a desired adhesive strength. The pressure sensitive adhesive sheet includes a base material having an adhesive layer provided on at least one surface thereof, wherein a pressure sensitive adhesive constituting the adhesive layer contains (A) an acrylic copolymer having a crosslinkable functional group and (B) a urethane resin, the urethane resin is a product obtained by allowing an isocyanate-terminated urethane prepolymer obtained by a reaction between [b1] a diol and [b2] a polyvalent isocyanate compound to react with [b3] a chain extender, and the chain extender is composed of [b4] a compound having two hydroxyl groups and/or amino groups and [b5] a compound having three or more hydroxyl groups and/or amino groups, in a proportion of [b4] to [b5] of from 7/3 to 10/0 in terms of a mass ratio.
