An execution unit executes processing that conforms to the result of speech recognition. An analyzing unit analyzes the suitability of input speech for the speech recognition.     • There is provided an information processing apparatus which allows a user interface implemented in a description language such as XML or the like to re-use a widget. A user interface description document can describe a command to allocate a widget with reference to a widget description document that describes the definition of the widget of the user interface. When the user interface description document describes the command, the information processing apparatus refers to the widget description document and generates structured data which expresses the contents that integrate the user interface description document and widget description document. The apparatus displays the user interface based on the generated structured data, and executes an operation in response to an input event from the user.

    • There are provided an information processing method and apparatus, which can composite an image at a link destination into document data upon printing document data that describes address information as a link to an image file, can obviate the need for additional access by the user, and can improve user's convenience. This information processing apparatus prints document data that describes address information of an image on a server which can be accessed via the Internet. An operation unit (107) issues a print instruction of an image, and makes its setups. Address information is detected from document data, and that image is accessed via the Internet. It is checked if the accessed image can be embedded in the document data. If the accessed image can be embedded, that image is downloaded. The downloaded image is embedded at a predetermined position in the document upon printing the document data.

    • An image processing method enables to reconstruct a new image viewed from set POV (point of view) position and direction without increasing a communication amount. To do so, in the image processing method of reconstructing the new image at a POV position where no actual photographing is performed, from among plural images respectively photographed at different POV positions, there are provided a setting step of setting POV position/direction information; a transmission step of transmitting the set POV position/direction information to plural photographing devices; a reception step of receiving effective pixel information of images according to the POV position/direction information respectively from the plural photographing devices; and a reconstruction step of reconstructing the new image based on the received effective pixel information, wherein the photographing device extracts a effective pixel from the photographed image, on the basis of the POV position/direction information.
