    • Apparatus for, and method of, through-the-valve testing the pressure levels within pressurized containers, particularly aerosol containers, without dispensing the container contents. The apparatus includes a vertically reciprocal head in which a small charge of gas under greater pressure than the highest pressure level to be tested for is isolated in a small chamber. The head is lowered onto a container being tested and an adapter on the bottom of the head interfaces with the valve on the container. The pressure of the charge in the head is released into the adapter and the container valve is actuated to provide a connection between the container pressure and the higher pressure in the head and adapter. Due to its small volume the pressure in the head and adapter readily equalizes to the level of the pressure in the container. This equalized pressure is sensed by a pressure sensor or transducer connected to the chamber in the head.

    • An adapter clamp that enables a delivery system to be connected to an aerosol can. The adapter clamp includes a pair of body members oriented in a side-by-side relationship having an arcuate cutout in an medial face that combine to form an aperture through which the delivery system contacts the aerosol can. Each body member has an arcuate neck with an outward protruding toe extending from a bottom surface thereof configured to be received in an annular recess of the aerosol can and engage a rim of the can. The adapter clamp also includes at least one connector slidably joining the body members such that the members are adapted to slide between a spread configuration wherein the members have a gap between the body members and a compressed configuration wherein the members substantially abut each other so that the toes may be inserted past the rim and into the recess of the aerosol can. The adapter clamp also includes at least one spring member configured to push the body members apart thereby biasing the members in the spread configuration.

    • A tool for removing a cap from a pest control device includes a hub and at least four fingers depending from the hub in circumferentially spaced relationship with each other to cooperatively define a socket for receiving the cap within the tool. The fingers are resiliently moveable transversely outward relative to the hub upon receiving the cap into the socket whereby the fingers are biased transversely inward against a sidewall of the cap when the cap is received in the socket. A plurality of stops extends from fewer than all of the fingers laterally inward of the socket. The stops are adapted for contacting a top of the cap upon receipt of the cap within the socket such that the fingers and stops cooperate to orient the tool on the cap.

    • A tool for removing a cap from a pest control device, such as a termite control device. The tool comprises fingers extending generally parallel to one another adapted for frictionally engaging a side edge of the cap. The fingers define a socket for receiving the cap. The socket is slightly smaller than the cap so that engagement of the fingers with the cap induces the fingers to move with respect to the cap to increase the size of the socket. Movement of the fingers induces frictional engagement of the fingers with the cap. Stops extending laterally inwardly in the socket from the fingers are adapted for engaging a top surface of the cap transverse to the side edge of the cap. The fingers and stops cooperate to orient the cap with respect to the tool. The tool may further comprise an extension extending from the tool for manipulating the tool from a remote location. The tool may otherwise include a handle for grasping the tool.
