    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna array control method capable of automatically, quickly, and accurately finding a radiation pattern preferable for communication with a client terminal, and an access point using the same.SOLUTION: There is provided an antenna array control method and an access point using the same. The antenna array control method comprises the steps of: selecting at least one packet as at least one detection packet (packet) per detection periodic interval; transferring a detection packet using one radiation pattern among a plurality of radiation patterns to be detected in an antenna array; calculating a packet error rate in all the radiation patterns to be detected; and selecting a radiation pattern having the lowest packet error rate from among all the radiation patterns as a radiation pattern preferable for the antenna array.
