摘要： A water-saving diffuser (1) for which a user perceives a relatively higher flow rate than the actual flow rate includes a lower chamber portion (10) housing a distributor disk (40) therein, and an accelerator portion (20) attached to the lower chamber portion (10), the accelerator portion (20) having a plurality of apertures for producing a multiple-stream output from the water-saving diffuser (1). A central aperture (42) of the distributor disk (40) can be custom-tailored to produce a specific flow rate for a given water supply pressure. The water-saving diffuser (1) may be used in a water distribution system to provide a predetermined uniform flow rate to all regions of a single or multi-story building.

摘要： An electrical connector for interconnecting three wires is comprised of a body 10, which is made of a conductive metal alloy that can be deformed by application of a crimping force. Body 10 is formed of first and second portions 12 and 14, both of which are tubular, and each comprises a hollow cylinder. The first portion 12 being about twice the length of the second portion 14. Opposite ends of the first portion 12 define first and second receptacles 2b, 4b in the form of cylindrical openings for receiving respective bare tips of first and second insulated wires. Similarly, opposite ends of the second portion 14 also comprise cylindrical openings with one of them being a third receptacle 6b for receiving a bare tip of a third insulated wire. The connector may be used for joining three insulated wires using the electrical connector 8 by, for each of the three insulated wires 2, 4, 6, inserting a bare tip 2a, 4a, 6a, of the insulated wire into a respective receptacle 2b, 4b, 6b of the electrical connector 8 and then crimping the body 10 of the electrical connector about the respective receptacle to thereby fasten the bare tip to the electrical connector for establishing an electrical and mechanical connection therewith.
