摘要： A tunneling-based mobility support method and apparatus is provided which supports a mobility of a mobile node in a heterogeneous network regardless of IP versions (IPv4/IPv6). The mobility support apparatus includes a load balancer, a plurality of mobility support servers, and a plurality of end routers each being TCP connected to each of the mobility support servers. When receiving a tunnel establishment request message from the mobile node, the load balancer selects one mobility supports server from a plurality of mobility support servers to control a mobility service for the mobile node. The selected mobility support server selects a plurality of tunnel end addresses of one end router from the plurality of end routers to establish an IP tunnel with the mobile node according to a predetermined criterion, forwards the tunnel establishment request message to the end router, and sends the mobile node a tunnel establishment response message including the tunnel end address of the selected end router.

摘要： A method for configuring a closed user network (CUN) using an IP tunneling mechanism and a CUN system are disclosed. In particular, disclosed is a technique of establishing a tunnel between a tunnel end edge device (TEED) and a control server by using an IP tunneling mechanism to allow terminals connected to the TEED to perform communications by using a closed IP, enabling the TEED to provide a network address translation (NAT) function so that the TEED can perform data forwarding like a general NAT, without performing tunneling on a destination IP outside the closed IP section, to perform communication, and allowing a terminal located in an area where the TEED is not provided to directly establish a tunnel with the control server by using a client software to thereby perform communications with a terminal or a server connected to the TEED by using the closed IP.

摘要： Technology for forming a virtual private network (VPN) is provided. A VPN gateway that supports mobility with a connection node having a virtual home address (HoA) and a care of address (CoA) includes a mobility support unit, a data security unit, and a virtual address converter. When a packet is transferred from the connection node, the mobility support unit sustains a binding relationship between a home address (HoA) of the connection node and the changed CoA, and processes a mobility tunnel for the packet, thereby generating a first conversion packet. The data security unit performs a security test of the first conversion packet. The virtual address converter converts the HoA of the connection node, which is a source address of the first conversion packet in which the security test is complete, to a private network internal address that can be used in the VPN, thereby generating a second conversion packet.

The IPTV service system comprises: a subscriber concentrator which delivers an IPTV service request message that is sent from a subscriber terminal, receives an IPTV service authentication reply message generated in accordance with IGMP in response to the IPTV service request message, and sends a corresponding IPTV multicast stream to the subscriber terminal according to an IPTV service authentication result; a network connector which receives the IPTV service request message delivered from the subscriber concentrator, generates an IPTV service authentication request message in accordance with a RADIUS protocol, sends the generated IPTV service authentication request message to an IPTV service authentication/billing server, generates an IPTV service authentication reply message in accordance with the IGMP when receiving an IPTV service authentication reply message generated in accordance with the RADIUS protocol, and sends the generated IPTV service authentication reply message to the subscriber concentrator; and the IPTV service authentication/billing server which determines whether the subscriber is authorized for an IPTV service when receiving the IPTV service authentication request message that is generated in accordance with the RADIUS protocol and sent from the network connector, and generates the IPTV service authentication reply message in accordance with the RADIUS protocol and sends the IPTV service authentication reply message to the network connector. 摘要： An idle address controller for a shared buffer type ATM switch controls the addresses of output cells in a common memory to be stored directly in an idle address buffer without passing through the conventional idle address delay controller, by improving the idle address control scheme of a unit switch. The idle address controller includes an idle address control signal generator for generating idle address control signals based on the buffer length information from counters, idle address control signal buffers for storing the idle address control signals, and an idle address control signal multiplexer. Therefore, the idle addresses can be efficiently provided, and this mechanism lowers cell loss and reduces required memory capacity.
