    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an overhead type housing unit with a cabinet and a door device mounted to be able to be pivotally moved to the cabinet for a movement between an open place and a closed place of a door. SOLUTION: The cabinet has a first door section and a second door section, and each door section is attached pivotally to the cabinet so as to be able to be moved among the open places and the closed places. The first door section has a first door member and one first arm member fixed at both ends of the first door member respectively. The second door section has a second door member and one second arm member fixed at both ends of the second door member respectively. Each arm member is connected to the cabinet in a pivotally moved manner for moving corresponding door sections among the open places and the closed places, arranged at mutually approaching places at the closed places and arranged outside the cabinet at the open places.     • A movable wall assembly (20) consists of a series of interconnected wall sections (20a-20g), each of which is defined by a frame assembly (40) to which a series of panels (56,58) are removably mounted. The panels (56,58) are mounted to the frame assemblies (40) via a series of openings (62) formed in the frame members (42,44) and protrusions (64) extending from the panels (56,58) received within the openings (62). A locking strip (66) is mounted to the frame members (42,44) for movement between a locking position to selectively engage the protrusions (64) to mount the panel (56,58) to the frame assembly (40), and to a release position to disengage the protrusions (64) to enable the panel (56,58) to be removed from the frame assembly (40). An electrical power and voice/data communication distribution system is interconnected with the frame assembly (40), and includes electrical power receptacles (110) located within an internal cavity (122) defined between the wall panels (60). The receptacles (110) face at least partially downwardly, and are accessible through an access opening. The cables (120) extend from electrical equipment supported by a worksurface adjacent the wall assembly (20), and the excess portion of the cable (120) hangs downwardly from the receptacle (110) to efficiently and conveniently store the excess cable. Preferably, a portion of the receptacle (110) faces the access opening to provide visibility of the receptacle (110) when connecting a cable (120) thereto.

    • A non-progressive wall system (1) is composed of versatile and interchangeable panels (3) and other components. The wall system panels may be opaque (5) or transparent (7). The panels comprise superstructures that are pivotable about base assemblies. In the vertical attitude, the tops of the superstructures are releasably coupled to ceiling rails by upper glide assemblies. The panels are rigidly interconnected to each other by panel connectors that slide within the superstructures between storage and installed positions. The wall system further comprises corner posts that provide two, three, or four way junctions for the panels. A door module may be installed at any desired location in the wall system. Decorative covers over the working parts provide a neat and attractive appearance.
