    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of a conventional filter bag wherein the filter bag is not sufficiently swollen (the efficiency in extracting tea-leaf extract is not good) because the tea-leaves inside the filter bag is pressed with front and rear filter materials in such a way as to block an opening of a filter bag body with folded-back folds after the tea-leaves are stored inside the filter bag body. SOLUTION: A water-insoluble and water-permeable sheet 1 is double-folded to form side faces 2 and 3 of the bag body. The upper part of one side face 2 is folded back outward to form an outer fold part 4 and the upper part of the other side face 3 is folded back inward to form an inner fold part 5. The bottom of the bag body is tucked into the bag opening 9 side to form at least one tucked-in part 7, and the side face 2 of the bag body is tucked into the bottom of the bag body to form at least one tucked-in part 8. Both end edges of the side faces 2 and 3 are fused together with the outer fold part 4, the inner fold part 5 and the tucked-in parts 7 and 8. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
(C)2009,JPO&INPIT

    • Constant phone-call quality is kept irrespective of setting of a tone adjusting function of a cellular phone under connection. There is provided a sound collector for collecting voices and converting the voices to a voice signal, a communication unit for communicating with a cellular phone terminal according to a predetermined communication protocol, and a reproducing unit for reproducing the voice signal received in the communication unit. A hands-free phone-call device for enabling the cellular phone terminal to execute hands-free phone call is provided with a signal processor for subjecting a voice signal to signal processing of adjusting tone quality to a predetermined state, and a controller for obtaining information on a tone adjusting function from the cellular phone terminal when the cellular phone terminal having the tone adjusting function for adjusting the tone quality during phone call is connected to communicate, and transmitting a predetermined command when it is determined that the tone adjusting function of the cellular phone terminal can be stopped or not, whereby the tone adjusting function of the cellular phone terminal is stopped and then the signal processor is made to execute the signal processing.

    • A projection type video display apparatus has a lighting system, which comprises a multiplicity of light sources (11, 12) for emitting substantially parallel beams of light, a half-mirror (13), and a total-reflection mirror (14). The half mirror and the total-reflection mirror are arranged to transmit and/or reflect these beams to illuminate substantially the same entire region of an integrator lens (14). As a result, a high-quality image having no unbalanced white or black dolor uniformity can be obtained even when the light sources are used only partially. This arrangement can be obtained using an inexpensive half-mirror and total-reflection mirror. Moreover, there is no need of precisely positioning the mirrors in alignment with a large number of convex lenses constituting the integrator lens. Thus, the projector can be manufactured at low cost.

    • An optical waveguide module includes a wiring board, and a light-receiving element and optical waveguide substrate that are positioned on both sides of this wiring board. The wiring board includes a base member having transparency to light of the wavelength that can be received by the light-receiving element; surface electrical wiring on the surface of the base member, and filter film on the rear surface of the base member for passing only light of the wavelength that can be received by the light-receiving element and for reflecting light of other wavelengths. An aperture larger than the core of the optical waveguide is formed in the surface electrical wiring. The light-receiving element (9) is flip-chip mounted on surface electrical wiring (4) using bumps (11), and the light-receiving region (10) of the light-receiving element (9) is arranged to face the wiring board (7).
