The arm rest 1 is extendable along the folded pole. On the other hand, the extended support pole and a rotation restriction mechanism are configured to hold an angle to stably support and receive the elbows. The arm rest 1 includes a flat part for mounting the elbows thereon, and an action point to receive weighting and a fulcrum connected to the pole are shifted to ensure stability during use.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tide-weir that can be operated in a perfectly unmanned manner and that surely actuates even in an emergency such as high-priority evacuation or loss of power.SOLUTION: An unmanned block tide-weir comprises: sheeting 1 that has a rotating shaft provided at an upstream end and the downstream side of which is sunk on a channel bottom in the state of being capable of turning and rising; an auxiliary plate 2 that is coupled to a downstream end of the sheeting by a hinge with a bend angle restriction; and a float 3 that is coupled to lift the downstream end of the sheeting and a downstream end of the auxiliary plate. The unmanned block tide-weir is provided with a door stop 4 that is installed at an obtuse angle and that stops water pressure when the water pressure generated by the force of water of a tsunami acts on them.
