Extensible handles. - Floor-scrapers of the type comprising side frames, large and small wheels journaled in the side frames, and an obliquely-adjustable scraper blade, are provided with improved means for mounting and adjusting the scraper-blade and handle. The side frames 1, Figs. 2 and 3, have their rear ends converging and secured by bolts 4 to channelbars 3, between which slides the slotted handlebar 5 having a cross-handle 6 and adapted to be adjustably secured by bolts 8 and wing-nuts 9. The head 23 for holding the blade is formed with keyhole - shaped sockets by which it is mounted on ribs 21, Fig. 5, on the ends 18 of side members 18 having extensions 17 adapted to slide in recesses 17 in the side frames, as shown in Fig. 5. The head is longitudinally and angularly adjustable by means of slots 17 , bolts 19, and nuts 20, a cover-plate 24, as shown in Fig. 3, preventing its removal from the ribs 21. The scraper blade 29 with a faceplate 30 fits in a recess in the head 23, and is secured by bolts 31 to a T-shaped bar 28 adapted to slide transversely in a similarlyshaped recess in the head, and thus facilitate scraping near a wall or door-way.
