摘要： Downlink schemes are disclosed for a cooperative user equipment (UE) with joint baseband processing. UEs may establish a cooperative UE unit with one or more neighboring UEs, where one of the UEs operates as the primary UE. The participating UEs of the cooperative UE unit determine a downlink transmission scheme for the cooperative transmissions from a serving base station and receive cooperative transmissions of one or more transport blocks from the serving base station according to the downlink transmission scheme. The secondary UEs of the cooperative UE unit generate and transmit cooperative process data to the primary UE, where the cooperative process data is based on the receipt of the cooperative transmissions by the secondary UEs. The primary UE processes its received cooperative transmission along with the cooperative process data to decode the one or more transport blocks. Other aspects and features are also claimed and described.

Furthermore, the UE assumes information received in the PDCCH is for said primary cell when the received information has a common payload size and is in a common search space with a first CCE index in the common search space being equal to a first CCE index in a UE specific search space.

In one design, a base station transmits first control information to support communication for at least one first UE on a first system bandwidth and transmits second control information to support communication for at least one second UE on a second system bandwidth, which overlaps the first system bandwidth. The base station transmits data to the first and second UEs on the first and second system bandwidths, respectively. In one design, the base station receives third control information from the first UE(s) and fourth control information from the second UE(s) on a third system bandwidth. The base station receives data from the first UE(s) on the third system bandwidth and receives data from the second UE(s) on a fourth system bandwidth, which overlaps the third system bandwidth.

One example method generally includes receiving multiple feedback aspects of a channel for wireless communications determining multiple codewords based on the multiple feedback aspects, determining a final precoding matrix based on the multiple codewords, enforcing at least one codebook property in at least one of the multiple codewords or the final precoding matrix, applying the final precoding matrix to a plurality of spatial streams to form precoded spatial streams, and transmitting the precoded spatial streams. For certain aspects, enforcing the at least one codebook property includes quantizing elements in each of the multiple codewords and/or the final precoding matrix to the nearest value in a finite alphabet or to increase a performance metric.

摘要： Providing a coding scheme for wireless communication downlink reference signals is described herein. By way of example, a dedicated reference signal is mapped to resources of a wireless channel as a function of an identifier (ID) of a cell in which the reference signal is transmitted. The function can be similar to mapping functions employed for common reference signals, or can be distinct from such functions. As one example of the latter, a dedicated reference signal mapping function can be shifted in time or frequency with respect to the common reference signal mapping function. By employing a mapping function based on cell ID, noise caused by concurrent transmission of reference signals can be mitigated in a manner readily determined by terminals in a wireless network.
