    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a whistle, reducing offensive high-frequency noise while retaining a compact size and light weight to thereby lessen load to the ears of a whistler, and easily held and mouthed by the whistler.
      SOLUTION: The whistle includes: a first resonance chamber 21; a second resonance chamber 22; a body part 11 having an orifice 23, in which a sound emitting opening 24 is opened; and a mouthpiece part 12 having an air supply pipe 28, in which an air supply opening 29 is opened. The first resonance chamber 21 and the second resonance chamber 22 are disposed on the upper and lower sides with the orifice 23 interposed between them, thereby constituting a connected resonance chamber 20, and a resonance sound wave is shifted to the lower frequency side in the connected resonance chamber 20 and emitted from the sound emitting opening 24.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a whistle, the interior of which can be cleaned and the side plate of which can be easily attached and detached.
      SOLUTION: The whistle 1 is provided with a resonance chamber 21 and an air supply pipe 26 inside, and a sound emitting opening 22 and an air supply opening 25 opened. The whistle includes: a body 11 whose one side is opened, and which is formed of a hard resin; and the side plate 12, which closes the side opening part and which is formed of the hard resin. A resonance chamber wall 21a constituting a resonance chamber 21 of the body 11 is partially cut out to provide a resonance chamber wall opening part 21b, and a circular-arc first flange 31 is provided in a portion of the side plate 12 corresponding to the resonance chamber 21. A recessed part 32 is provided in the first flange 31, and a projecting part 28 is provided on a first flange receiver 27. In mounting the side plate 12, the resonance chamber 21 is enlarged or reduced by the resonance chamber wall opening part 21b to press in the first flange 31. The projecting part 28 and the recessed part 32 are locked to prevent the side plate 12 from falling out.
