摘要： The present invention relates to a cavitation free rotary mechanical device with improved output and, in particular, to a rotary mechanical device (such as a hydro turbine, marine propeller, etc) including a rotatable shaft and associated blades (or cups or vanes), the rotary mechanical device configured to introduce air at one or more areas of extremely low pressure force on the surface of, or at least in the proximity of, the rotatable blades (or cups or vanes) during rotation and thereby prevent cavitation effects that would otherwise be caused by the extremely low pressure forces acting on such surfaces during operation.

摘要： An egg washing conveyer apparatus particularly usable with eggs arranged in rows with the long axes thereof extending laterally with respect to the direction of movement of the conveyor including a brushing member which extends longitudinally between the individual rows of egg receiving recesses downwardly and obliquely inwardly toward each side of each row to provide complete brushing of the ends of the eggs which normally are not cleaned by a conventional overhead brushing apparatus. The present invention also includes the conventional overhead brushing apparatus for cleaning the major external portion of the egg which in combination with the end cleaning brushes provide complete cleaning of an egg surface by one washing station.

Each recess 16 is provided in its base with an outlet 32 and washing liquid is directed on to the eggs through spray nozzles 18 supplied through a pipe located above the trays. The conveyer 10 preferably comprises spaced chains 12 across which extend rods 14 which engage an end of each recess to move the trays with the conveyer. Alternatively the trays may be located by means of pins projecting upwardly from the chains into openings in the trays. The eggs may be dried by means of blowers. The conveyer 10 may be moved intermittently.
