摘要： Provided is an on-vehicle patch antenna device which has reduced sizes and multiple functions with improved performance. An in-vehicle patch antenna device is provided with a substrate (10), a ground conductor (20) arranged on the substrate (10), an antenna element section (30) and a notifying circuit section (40). The antenna element section (30) is arranged on a surface facing a surface of the substrate (10) whereupon the ground conductor (20) is to be arranged, and provided with a power feed section (31) and a degeneracy-removing element section (32). The notifying circuit section (40) is arranged on the substrate (10), and connected close to a region where current distribution is minimum in the peripheral region of the antenna element section (30) other than a region whereupon the power feed section (31) is arranged.

摘要： A vehicle antenna is concealed by utilizing, as part of the antenna, an elongated slot normally functioning only for decoration on a metal panel of the vehicle. A second part of the antenna is formed by an antenna element positioned at the slot for transmitting and/or receiving signals through the slot. A basic form of the antenna is a slot antenna in which a wire extends across the slot through or behind an opaque plastic plug fitted in the slot and extending in the plane of the metal panel. Another form has an elongated antenna element extending longitudinally at a central position in the slot. The antenna element may be formed as a metallic strip on a printed circuit board extending behind the slot, and an earth ring may be formed as a surrounding metallic surface that capacitively couples with the metal panel. The slot is used in a dual capacity, providing decorative trim but also forming part of the antenna. Plastic bumper moulding or vehicle trim may have a stem portion that is press-fittable in the slot for retaining the moulding or trim in place on the vehicle, and in such case the stem portion may be a dielectric material to an end of which an antenna element can be fitted. The moulding or trim completely covers the slot, concealing the antenna.

The second patch member is formed integral with a vertical conductive connecting member as part of a folded conducting plate; this construction allows the second patch member to be quickly and accurately positioned relative to the ground plane member before attachement to the ground plane member. The antenna has the advantages of a high bandwidth, simple construction and inexpensive manufacture.

摘要： An integrated antenna includes a dielectric on which is patterned an antenna element and on which, close to an edge of the dielectric, is also patterned a conductive ground coupling member. The ground coupling member is capable of electricalcoupling with a grounded body surrounding the dielectric to provide a ground for an unbalanced transmission line whose live is connected to the antenna element. The length of the ground coupling member is made such that an integral odd number of quarterwavelengths of signals at each operating frequency are adapted to extend either side of a signal-ground connection point; the length approximates one-half wavelength at the primary operating frequency. By including a second signal feedline to extend in parallel with the ground coupling member and connect with another antenna element, it is possible for the integrated antenna to receive/transmit on at least two frequencies. The invention finds application in integrated antenna structures in which a local ground connection is not readily possible. For instance, the dielectric and grounded body may be a respective window and chassis of a car. Another automotive application involves forming the integrated antenna on a plastic boot lid.

摘要： An outer peripheral wall and an inner peripheral wall are formed in the lower part of a shark-fin antenna case (10). The lower end surface of the inner peripheral wall is bonded to the upper surface of an insulating base (20) in an antenna base (11) arranged on the lower surface of the antenna case (10). Thus, an antenna assembly can be housed in the antenna case (10) which is constructed to be waterproof. The antenna assembly is provided with: an element holder (12) that is arranged upright on the antenna base (11); an umbrella-shaped element (13) that is fixed to the top part of the element holder (12) in such a way that the rear part thereof is positioned above the insulating base (20); an amplifier substrate (16) for amplifying a reception signal of the umbrella-shaped element; and a coil (14) that causes the umbrella-shaped element (13) to resonate at the specified frequency. Therefore, the antenna base can be formed without requiring a strengthening member.
