摘要： Disclosed herein is a hybrid capacitor including: a first structure including a cathode containing activated carbon and an anode containing lithium; and a second structure including activated carbon layers formed on both surfaces of a current collector. With the hybrid capacitor, characteristics of an LIC and characteristics of an EDLC are implemented in a single cell, thereby making it possible to increase energy density and improve output characteristics.

摘要： The present invention relates to an electrode for an energy storage and a method for manufacturing the same and provides a useful effect of improving resistance characteristics of an electrode for an energy storage and strengthening adhesion by forming trenches of predetermined dimensions on a surface of a current collector, forming a conductive layer, which includes a conductive agent as much as possible, on the surface of the current collector, and forming a bonding layer including an active material, a conductive agent, and a binder and an electrode layer including an active material and a binder on the conductive layer.

摘要： An electrode active material composition, including: an electrode active material; a ketjen black subjected to hydrophilization treatment; and a water-based solvent, and an electrochemical capacitor including an electrode having a current collector coated with the composition. A hydrophilic group is attached on a surface of the ketjen black conducting powder having very strong hydrophobicity, through hydrophilic treatment, and thus, dispersibility of an active material of a carbon material such as activated carbon, and the conducting agent, can be improved when an electrode using a water-based solvent is prepared, with the result that an electrode having improved flowability and uniformity of electrode active material slurry can be prepared.

Exemplary embodiments manufacture the electrodes having the gradient of the specific surface area value to the electricity conductivity along the thickness direction of the current collector by forming the electrode active material layer having compositions in which a kind of electrode active materials and conductive materials are different along the thickness direction of the current collector. The exemplary embodiments can increase the capacitance of the electrochemical capacitor including the electrode and lower the electric resistance thereof, by appropriately controlling the resistance and capacitance value of the electrode.

The doped carbon material is used as the active material and the two types of conductive materials with different particle sizes are added between the active materials with a relatively large particle size, so that the electrode with high density can be prepared by increasing the amount of active material per unit volume, and can be efficiently used in a low resistance and high output electrochemical capacitor by increasing the filling density of the conductive material with excellent conductivity.
