摘要： A chair is described, of the type in which both the armrests and the backrest can be adjusted, which incorporates ergonomic improvements in the sense that adjustments are made while keeping the armrests and backrest as an integral component. In this way, the distance between the height of the lumbar support on the backrest and the elbow support area on the armrests remains constant, this distance having been found to be essentially the same, irrespective of the height of the seated individual. The armrests and backrest can be formed as a single piece or can be integrally joined together at the supporting structural interface to which these parts of the chair are attached in various ways, so that it is possible to remove and replace any one of these components.

This swinging movement of the seat is preferably accompanied by the rotation of a lever arm (6) pivotedly mounted at an end (6a) to the stationary portion (1a) of the seat support (1) and hinged at the other end (6b) to the front side of the seat (4), the length of said lever (6) or the pivoting point with seat (4) being adjustable by a simple operation of the user to modify the variation of the tilting angle of the seat (4) in function of its height. Said lever arm (6) may be provided with some elastic feature.

摘要： En plus d'être réglable en hauteur, le siège (4) de la chaise ergonomique décrite peut former un angle d'inclinaison variable, positif ou négatif par rapport à l'horizontale, à la suite du réglage de sa hauteur. Cet angle d'inclinaison est obtenu par un mouvement de bascule du siège (4), de sorte qu'il forme un arc de circonférence autour d'un centre de rotation qui coïncide sensiblement avec le centre de gravité (CG) d'une personne assise sur la chaise.
