    • A reconfigurable vehicle partition 10 for compartmentalising a space within a vehicle is disclosed. The partition comprises a frame 11 which is arranged to extend within an interior of the vehicle and which is arranged to support a gate 12, the gate comprising a plurality (12a, 12b, 12c figure 6) of pivotally interconnected panels which are reconfigurable between a folded gate configuration and an unfolded gate configuration. The gate is arranged to pivot with respect to the frame between a closed configuration in which the gate extends substantially within the frame to partition the vehicle, and an open configuration, in which the gate extends out of the plane of the frame. In the closed configuration, the gate is arranged to extend across the frame in a substantially folded configuration, and in the open configuration the gate is arranged to extend out of the plane of the frame in the unfolded configuration to provide a ramp access (figure 6) into and out from the vehicle. The gate may be used as a ramp when loading a boot or trunk of the vehicle, for example in assisting a dog to climb into the vehicle.

    • An arm restraint comprise a deformable semi-rigid upper layer and a foam lower l ayer secured to the upper layer. A cylindrical elastic banded sleeve is secured to th e foam lower layer. The upper and lower layers are curved to conform to the natural curve of a human arm. Releasable fasteners, such as hook and loop strips, are disposed on the upper la yer. A decorative cover may be emplaced over the upper and lower layers, between the lo wer layer and the sleeve. In use, an arm of a user is emplaced within the sleeve and the f oam layer is wrapped around the arm of the user. The arm restraint is then secured in positio n via the releasable fasteners. In a first embodiment, the arm restraint is long enough to immobilize the elbow of the user. In a second embodiment, the arm restraint covers only the for earm of the user. The arm restraint may be formed in adult, child, and infant sizes and both left-arm and right-arm models within each embodiment.
