摘要： A male incontinence guard is provided in which the front transverse edge is longer than the rear transverse edge. The male incontinence guard further has a central portion centered about a longitudinal centre line Y and at least a first side portion and a second side portion being arranged symmetrically on opposite sides of the central portion. The garment-facing surface of the guard comprises at least 2 adhesive zones located in said side portions and arranged so as to fix said guard to the garment of a user. The first and second side portions are folded over the body-facing surface of the central portion towards and/or over said longitudinal centre line Y. In the folded state, the adhesive zones are covered by a single strip of release material.

摘要： An absorbent article comprises a liquid-permeable topsheet, a liquid-impermeable backsheet and an absorbent core located therebetween. The fluid-permeable topsheet and fluid-impermeable backsheet extend beyond the absorbent core in at least the width 5 (X) direction and are joined to one another in the area outside the absorbent core to form an edge-seam. The absorbent article comprises two elastic members, each elastic member extending along one longitudinal edge of the absorbent core such that - along a major portion of the extension of the elastic members in the length (Y) direction - the elastic members overlie both a portion of the absorbent core and a portion of the edge- 10 seam in the width (X) direction. This arrangement provides improved three-dimensional forming of the article.

摘要： The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing absorbent articles having an absorbent core (18,20,22) enclosed between casing sheets (16,24) and elastic elements (26-28) located in a front part and/or rear part of the article, comprising the steps of laying a row of absorbent cores (18,20,22) on a first web (16) of casing material running in a machine direction with the longitudinal direction of the cores being extended in the machine direction, applying a second web (24) of casing material onto the web containing the row of absorbent cores, applying elastic elements (26-28) to one of said webs before it contacts said row of absorbent cores, thereby forming a row of connected absorbent article blanks, and thereafter cutting individual absorbent articles out of the row of article blanks. According to the invention the absorbent cores (26-28) are laid onto the first web (16) with their front ends turned against each other and respective elastic elements (26-28) are applied with a length in the longitudinal direction twice the length of the respective elastic element in the front and/or rear part of the article.

Hereby, it is possible to adjust the shape of the absorbent structure so that more absorbent material is put in the product. Also, material waste can be reduced, compared to a conventional rectangular-formed absorbent structure. Further, the absorption capacity is increased and thus the risk for leakage is reduced.

Further, since small perforations are positioned between the apertures and the top sheet to a large extent is open, the acquisition properties are enhanced.
