    • A motor mount having hydraulic damping comprises a support member and a support bearing or wall which are connected by an elastic support spring of circular ring shape and together define an operating space. The operating space is separated from a compensating space by a partition wall connected to the support bearing or wall. The operating space and the compensating space are connected by a connecting aperture or conduit. The conduit penetrates the partition wall and is interrupted by at least one cavity of variable volume. The part sections of the conduit formed thereby have a cross-section reduced stepwise in the direction from the operating space to the compensating space. This gives the motor bearing a wide-band damping effect.

    • A hydraulically damped rubber motor mount has a mounting flange, a motor connection above the flange, and a rubber annulus interconnecting the connection and flange and forming a hydraulic chamber. An elastically expansible and contractible hydraulic enclosure is connected with the chamber via a flow path that is at least fifty times longer than its cross-sectional area. Hydraulic fluid fills the chamber, enclosure and path. Low frequency vibration applied to the motor connection when supporting a motor, is damped by hydraulic flow back and forth between the chamber and enclosure via the flow path. Because of the length of this flow path relative to its cross-sectional area, the mount does not excessively stiffen when the motor applies high frequency vibration to the motor connection.

    • A controllable motor bearing consisting of a journal bearing and a support which are connected parallel to one another by means of a first and a second spring element made of rubber. One of the spring elements can be locked in place by an auxiliary mechanism, if necessary. The first spring element is structured in the form of a ring, and has an inside diameter which is larger than the outside diameter of the second spring element. The first spring element overlaps the second spring element at least partially in the axial direction. The auxiliary mechanism consists of a support element which at least partially surrounds the second spring element at a radial distance. The second spring element has a recess which has an expanse and position in the axial direction which cooperates with the support element. A fluid medium can be fed into the recess. The second spring element can be expanded in the area of the recess, as a function of the pressure of the fluid medium, and can be placed against the support element so as not to move.
