摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a material applicator suitable to a viscous material and capable of forming various spiral patterns by providing a housing, a variable- speed motor and a nozzle and furnishing an air cap connected to the motor and made rotatable around the nozzle by the motor. SOLUTION: This applicator 10 has the housing 12, variable-speed motor 14, air cap 16 and nozzle 18. A hollow motor shaft 22 is extended in the center in the motor 14, and the upper end is connected to a tank for a material to be applied such as viscous liq. through a pump. The nozzle 18 is freely attachably-detachably mounted on the lower end of the motor shaft 22, and an orifice, i.e., an opening 24, is provided at the tip of the nozzle 18. As a result, the viscous material is passed through the motor shaft 22 and discharged from the opening 24 as the bead. The air cap 16 is a rotary member, its top 26 is screw-joined to the hollow motor shaft 22 and fixed, and the cap is rotated along with the shaft 22. The housing 12 is fixed to a motor housing 28.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for correcting a flowmeter to determine a volumetric flow rate with high resolution. SOLUTION: In order to correct and measure the volumetric flow rate through a gear type flowmeter 10 provided with a sensor 20 for detecting the variable movement of gear thereof, the sensor 20 is connected with an A/D converter 30 and a microcontroller 40. The microcontroller 40 receives and accumulates the sampled values of sensor signal. The sampled value is compared with a sampling signal being received subsequently and a relative gear position is derived. Volumetric flow rate is calculated based on the relative gear position. The sampling value is analyzed and compared with preceding sampling value thus detecting abrasion and rattling of flowmeter.

摘要： PURPOSE: To provide a paint circulating device which is capable of maintaining a necessary spray pressure and amount while a circulation rate and velocity of flow are low values in order to lessen the degradation in the grade of paint and a paint consumption rate is high. CONSTITUTION: A circulation pump 36' is used for a paint circulating device for supplying the paint to plural distributors 41'. An injection pump 46' operated by an electric motor capable of detecting pump characteristic injects the paint into a circulation network from a reservoir in order to maintain the prescribed pressure in the circulation network 34'. When the paint distributor with a valve is closed by a 'leakage' passage 51 having a prescribed restriction, the paint leaves the circulation network. If an automatic timer valve 54 is used for a leakage bypass, the velocity of the flow in the circulation network may be varied. The viscosity and amount of the paint are determined by such component parts, by which the settlement of the paint particles in the circulation network and the degradation in the grade of the circulating paint are minimized and the measurement of the wear of the circulating motor is made possible.

Consequently, the alternate segments of both components 32 and 36 housed in the conduit 16 function in series to form a combined resistor, thereby embodying a voltage drop.

The valve 30 is controlled in its operation to control the material and to supply the controlled air via the air supply hose 28 to the spray gun 20.
