摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera lens cap holder that can be quickly made handy even when the lens cap is detached from a camera lens.SOLUTION: The body of a lens cap holder 2 has a recessed part 2b that has almost the same size as a lens cap. The lens cap can be attached to the recessed part 2b by being frictionally fitted thereto as in the case of being held on a camera lens. In the lens cap holder 2, it is not necessary to make any modifications to the lens cap and a camera. Since the lens cap holder 2 is integrally molded, cost can be made relatively low.

摘要： An optical device for estimating the relative distances of a number of objects from a target object comprises means producing at the eye a marker overlying the target object and a series of concentric circles around the target object. The estimator, particularly useful for the game of bowls, comprises in one form a plano-concave objective lens 15 provided with a centre spot marker 20 and concentric circles 21, 22 engraved or coated on one surface and a pinhole eyepiece 12 is also provided such that the marker, circles and field of view are brought simultaneously into focus at the eye. The focal length of the lens 15 is selected such that when the estimator is held to the eye looking over the jack 24 a wide field of view on the ground, typical of distances between jack 24 and bowls 25 - 27 measured in the game, is obtained for an observer of average height. A light source may be provided to illuminate the markings on the lens. The light source comprises a bulb (31, Fig. 3) located in a hole (30) provided in the lens 15 and a battery housed inside the stem 10. The objective lens 15 and pinhole eyepiece 12 are each pivotally 11, 14 connected to a stem 10 and the estimator is so dimensioned that when folded it can be conveniently carried in a clothes pocket. In another form the estimator has means to project a marker and concentric circles onto the ground.
